Cosmoprof North America held in Las Vegas on July 29-31 was a memorable exploratory journey. The three-day event hosted 1,415 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors. While the massive show had several sections categorized to help attendees find their areas of interest, one of the most fun areas to visit annually is the nails section.
Nghia Nippers Corporation (NNC) is a leading manufacturer of professional beauty and nail tools for over 20 years. They're known for professional tools used daily in nail salons such as cuticle and acrylic nippers. Chances are, your favorite nail technicians have used one of their tools to beautify your nails.
With three high-tech factories and over 200,000 sq. ft. of production area, NNC produce millions of tools annually and sell in over 30 countries. As an annual exhibitor at Cosmoprof from Las Vegas to Hong Kong, this year’s exhibition was no different as they brought their enthusiastic sales team and an impressive inventory displayed in an industrial-themed booth. One unique feature this year was the addition of fully functional massage chairs with manicurists available at guests' requests. How thoughtful!
NNC chose the annual show to launch their EXPORT brand which is sold exclusively in the United States and Canada. According to NNC's CEO Troy Tran, this newly created line is enhanced with increased sharpness and durability. Besides nippers, the EXPORT brand also carries eyebrow scissors, tweezers, and nail clippers.
"We created EXPORT specifically for North America in order to help our customers buy with confidence since our popular NGHIA brand has been a victim of poor imitations and low quality knock-offs. EXPORT will only be available through our U.S. headquarters and distribution center located in Garden Grove, California along with authorized professional suppliers and retailers” expresses CEO Troy Tran. EXPORT products are packaged with English branding and instructions.
The fun of attending CosmoProf is awing over industry leaders who have been around for decades and discovering newcomers who move and shake up the scene.
Morgan Taylor celebrated their fifth anniversary this year. While the professional nail polish brand has not been around for as long as some of their peers, the California-based company has been making waves with stylish collections and splashy color palettes. They’ve partnered with global fashion houses like Rodarte, Rebecca Taylor, and Carolina Herrera.
Morgan Taylor exhibited several collections at Cosmoprof this year including but not limited to BareLuxury, African Safari, and my favorite — Platinum. It is an uber-indulgent line that features luxurious finishes and lavish textures. Platinum boasts a long-wearing formula that lasts up to 10 days.
